Dr. Wolfgang Petritsch, Ambassador ret.

Wolfgang Petritsch brings around 4 decades of experience in the diplomatic service to his role as advisor on foreign policy at LGP, having worked, amongst other things, as an ambassador in Belgrade and to the UN as well as head of the Permanent Representation of Austria to the OECD in Paris. He is also well known to the wider public as a former High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina: in the late 1990s and early 2000s, he had a significant part to play in the implementation of the Dayton Agreement. Wolfgang Petritsch has taught at Harvard University since 2013 and is the president of the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation. An expert in foreign policy, he studied history, German literature, politics and law at the University of Vienna.
